Tree pruning

t1-1.jpg

All the trees in the garden are pruned.

Pruning is an essential element of Japanese garden management techniques.

We study the garden design, then we prune each tree. We consider the size and function of each tree, taking into account its integration within the garden.

This allows us to understand the garden's intention and enhance its beauty. Pruning not only controls the size of the trees but also preserves their health and vigor. It also improves the circulation of light and air, thus helping to maintain their shape, prevent pests, and reduce the risk of falling trees due to climate change.
